The Cost of Fiduciary Duty
To meet my duty as Kaydi's Executive Fiduciary and full-time caregiver—a duty forced by administrative failure at the state level—I had to make an impossible choice:
I resigned from my Six-Figure ($142,000/year) DoD career to become her sole, unpaid caregiver, relying on a small inheritance to bridge the gap. This created a Key Person Risk for the entire $12.6 Million Trust.
